Unique and beautiful hand crafted glassware by our talented artist Maria Badshamiah, MA as 'Featured in the World of Interiors' Magazine in 2017' in their artistic features section.
Maria is a CGS member and ACN member and has been approached by 100% Design and the Belvior Castle to create unique work for them.
This new design is for a Sensory Glass jelly fish design Lamp design called Callisto.
This was made using sustainable light Beech wood base created from a local wood turner, incorporating a changeable colour and clear LED light base. This can take rechargeable, recyclable batteries as well as be connected by mains.
The Calisto range has been created by using 3-4 recycled glass colours, with sensory touch in mind.
The designs are all made with a smooth touch and have been created using calming colours of glass to create a sense of calm.

Calisto 7 fish is 13cm (h) 11cm (b) 10cm around middle
Calisto 8 fish 11.5cm (h) 9.5cm (b) 11cm around the middle
Glass Sphere dimensions are 11cm by 11cm
One of the amber Glass sphere lamps was purchased directly from the Director of the Luxury housing company Sherwood Oak Properties Ltd.
These are mainly aimed at those who are neurodiverse, as Maria herself has Dyspraxia and created these designs using an innovative glass blowing technique to help them to relax in the evening.
Perfect for a restaurant table top as a centre piece, bedroom, bathroom shelf, office or events.
When light passes through the Hand Blown glass, the refraction of the colours of the glass creates a galactic aurora around as pictured.
All glass now and in the future has and will be created to align with Marias' and the House of Harmonies sustainable and ethical policies.
